Eunice came over to plan for the SL project yesterday ^^. After meeting her at Hougang Mall, we ate lunch at the food court upstairs, and then went to buy baking ingredients for The Birthday Cake. Planned to make the prune and carrot thingy but since I smartly
forgot to bring the list of ingredients with me , it was either I ticum-ed the ingredients, tried to remember, or just buy cake mix. Guess which one i chose la, haha!
In the end, I bought Betty Crocker's SuperMoist Yellow Cake Mix, Cadbury's Baking Chocolate, and (YUM) strawberries! The cake turned out looking uber-nice and yummy! We broke it into three parts when removing it from the baking tin, but managed to cement them back together with baking chocolate. Oh and we kinda burnt some chocolate in the process too, but ohwell, it's my first time baking a cake by myself!
Yes, I know, I'm very deprived. We got back our Interim Reports today. Yay I'm satisfied with my GPA already la. Although my Math pulled me down. Math, I HATE YOU. Especially quadratic graphs.
After collecting our results, the batch was supposed to go out for batch outing, and I thought I had to go home to celebrate Mum's birthday. Then Dad called and said they were all at Orchard, so we went to Taka to eat fried dongfen! The dongfen is darn delicious (alliteration!) We had two plates! I am a self-gorging pig >< Yups so after that, Mum had to go back to Plaza Sing to draw up a plan with StarHub or whatever, so Dad went with me up to Yamaha to stare at the
instruments *****! Ahh they're so nice and shiny, and I saw one that cost only like $638! Like omg!
Then suddenly I heard Shimin's voice and turned around to see the whole batch. Haha, coincidentalness! Went with Hillary to look at percussion stuff. Some of the drumsticks they sell are gross man. Who would pair RED with WHITE (Use for Christmas decorations!) or YELLOW with BEIGE (These are for luring monkeys) or PURPLE with BEIGE (Just gay.) But the sleigh bells they sell are OMG so shinayyyyeee!!! And the chimes sound very bright and cheery (:
Bought a fife(apparently that's what it's called) in the end with Kejia.
